The causes of golfer’s elbow are similar to tennis elbow, but pain and tenderness are felt on the inside (medial) of the elbow, on or around the joint’s bony prominence. Both Tennis and Golfers Elbow are caused by repetitive injuries/strains and can be caused by the pull of the muscles, which extend the wrist and fingers.
Some common symptoms can include:
- Pain in the inner side of the arm
- Pain in the forearm
- Pain caused by lifting or bending the arm or by grasping light objects
- Difficulty in extending the arm
- Tenderness in the elbow
- Weakness of the wrist
We have had great success treating Golfers Elbow using ASTM, which stimulates the breakdown of this dysfunctional tissue and allows functional restoration to occur.
