COVID-19 Plan of Action
Premier Physical & Occupational Therapy COVID-19 Plan of Action
Premier Physical & Occupational Therapy is instituting a plan of action to keep our employees and patients as safe as possible from the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The waiting rooms at each clinic have been turned into a triage room where each staff member and patient will have their temperature taken before being allowed to enter the rest of the building. A fever is a symptom of COVID-19, so any staff member or patient with a fever of 100.0 or higher as well as trouble breathing will be turned away from entering the clinic until they see a doctor and are tested for COVID-19. They won’t be allowed to return until negative test results for COVID-19 from a doctor are presented to us.
We will also be continuing standard practice at Premier to keep everything sanitized/disinfected at the clinics. This standard practice will continue to take place as well as all beds, equipment, etc. will be disinfected prior to each patient using them.
We are also encouraging all employees and patients to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer as frequently as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as well as any other illnesses. Each clinic has hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and soap and water to allow for this. A no handshake policy has been implemented at each clinic to prevent the spread of illness.
Effective at our Kentucky Clinics per state regulations, ALL employees and patient’s MUST wear a mask/face covering.
It is our plan to continue providing care to our patients. These measures that are put in place ensure the safest environment possible for staff and patients alike.
